Analyst - Trading Real Time
What’s the position?
The Trading Real-Time Analyst will report to the RTA Team Leader and play a key role in monitoring and analyzing wagers and betting activity in real-time. This role ensures the optimal functioning of our trading operation by making real-time, data-driven trading decisions to optimize sportsbook profitability and mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and escalate sportsbook margin leaks in real time (e.g., incorrectly correlated Same Game Parlays, past posts, and industry pricing discrepancies).
Analyse player betting patterns and risk exposure using advanced sportsbook analytics and industry leading technology, collaborating with the Customer Optimization department to balance risk management with customer segmentation strategies and drive sustainable sportsbook growth.
Utilize trading expertise to perform market analysis and collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop trading strategies.
Deliver industry-leading bet notation with high-quality, up-to-date insights across multiple sports.
Demonstrate a strong intuition for risk analysis, backed by experience in a sportsbook trading function.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional with expertise in sports betting and customer behavior. You should be comfortable with risk analysis and possess strong logical thinking skills. The ideal candidate has experience in a sportsbook trading function with a proven background in data-driven decision-making. Experience with sportsbook trading platforms such as Amelco and Kambi, as well as data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or Amplitude is a strong plus.
