Director, Behavioral Health Services
Provides leadership and administrative direction for the development implementation, evaluation and operational management of integrated Inpatient behavioral health services and Emergency Department Behavioral Health Crisis Unit that is consistent with the district’s mission, strategic plan and resources. The leader is accountable & responsible for professional practices, clinical outcomes, human resources management, financial performance, customer satisfaction, marketing & program refinement in response to needs and trends of behavioral health. Organization-wide accountabilities are outlined in the technical competencies. The Director represents Broward Health in community-wide operational and planning meetings, seminars on appropriate community bodies addressing behavioral health needs, and promoting positive working relationships with all segments of District programs and services as well as community programs and services.
Education:
Essential:
Master’s degree in advanced practice areas such as MSW, MBA, MHA, or MSN is required.
Experience:
Essential:
Seven years of related behavioral health experience, including leadership.
Credentials:
Current FL RN, LCSW, or LMHC licensure is preferred.
CPI Training or equivalent is desired.
