Position Specific Description

Operations and Asset Engineering Overall Scope

Provide mechanical equipment support for static and process facilities
Scope and document maintenance, minor brownfield projects and major CAPEX projects
Manage CAPEX and some OPEX projects for: Estimates, design definition, and project management, from inception to completion of project, to bring projects in on time and budget
Monitor and improve project management processes to improve economics based on analysis
Develop optimization opportunities for project management processes
Identify improvement opportunities with existing engineering standards and procedures and new engineering standards and procedures to improve engineering
Develop new and review existing engineering standards and procedures when requested
Job Overview
Employees in this role make decisions and recommendations having significant impact on extensive engineering and related activities for the company. This position negotiates critical and controversial issues with top level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive engineering programs and activities
• Manages one or more programs of complex diversity and scope which are of critical importance to overall company objectives
• Acts as a subject matter expert
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s – Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• Experience: 7+ years
