Senior Manager - Sportsbook Coordination
What’s the position?
The Senior Manager, Sportsbook Coordination helps shape how the Sportsbook team operates day-to-day by improving processes, creating structure, and ensuring teams stay connected and focused on execution.
Reporting to the Sportsbook Program Director, this role leads cross-functional initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce friction, and enhance organizational performance. You’ll immerse yourself in the operations, build trusted partnerships with operational leaders, and translate what you learn into actionable insights that drive progress.
This leader will manage a team of Analysts and continue to shape how the coordination function operates by strengthening processes, improving workflows, and supporting the team as its scope continues to expand. The Senior Manager ensures the team scales effectively as the Sportsbook grows, balancing day-to-day execution with people leadership.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of operational discipline, analytical strength, and team development experience, with the ability to create order out of complexity, drive accountability, and ensure the coordination team delivers consistent, high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Director to translate strategic direction into detailed project plans with clear ownership, timelines, and milestones.
Proactively identify operational risks and establish mitigation plans.
Define success metrics for key initiatives, monitor outcomes, and adjust priorities and approaches based on data and results.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Analysts, fostering a culture of ownership, accuracy, and excellence in communication.
Build and implement training guides and standardized processes to establish how the coordination function operates and scales.
Maintain a clear operating rhythm for the Sportsbook organization, ensuring information moves efficiently and teams remain aligned on key initiatives.
Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and updates that distill complex information into clear insights for senior leadership.
Identify and address process gaps and inefficiencies across workflows, implementing scalable solutions that improve speed, clarity, and execution quality.
Develop reporting frameworks to measure team output, communication effectiveness, and operational health.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational standards, documentation, and communication practices across the Sportsbook organization.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
Background in operations or program management, with experience in process improvement, cross-functional coordination, and team leadership in a sportsbook/gaming environment. US Online Sportsbook experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams — ideally building a function and processes from the ground up.
Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and manage complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication skills — clear, concise, and diplomatic, with the ability to influence effectively at all levels.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into operational plans and measurable results.
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressure, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
