Senior Project Manager Development- Battery Storage
Position Specific Description
The Storage Integration team is looking for an innovative and dynamic Senior Project Manager who is passionate about battery energy storage systems. In this position you will support battery energy storage development across assigned regions, working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders such as utilities and regulatory agencies. You will be part of a growing team of experts who not only provide excellent inputs and analysis but are also customer service oriented with internal and external stakeholders.

You will utilize data from various internal and external sources to perform technical & market analysis, and propose storage & hybrid solutions to support our customers’ evolving needs. You will be expected to work collaboratively with Developers, Originators, Land Services, Asset Onboarding, and technical SMEs to support RFPs, customer discussions, interconnection requests, PPA and ESA negotiations, and regulatory advocacy. This role requires the ability to travel ~25% to support project/customer needs and will be based in Juno Beach, FL.
Job Duties
Supports battery energy storage system strategies through technical and market analysis
Monitors and participates in regional regulatory proceedings and advocacy efforts to support favorable storage policies and market rules
Develops models and dashboards related to energy storage
Tracks relevant industry trends and public intel related to energy storage contracting, project status and technology for competitive purposes
Identifies and supports pursuit of government funding opportunities including DOE grants and other incentive programs, if applicable
Lead storage sizing exercise to support RFP and bilateral discussions
Coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analysis, engineering/design review, resource analysis and legal review
Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding prospecting, contracting, permitting, interconnection and policy making
Assists in the construction of contractual arrangements for project development
Participates in negotiating agreements with consultants and subcontractors
Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
The ideal candidates will embody the following attributes:
Possesses either a Masters degree in business or engineering
At least five years of hands-on experience in supporting battery energy storage systems
Proficiency in collaborating effectively within a complex organizational structure and across all levels of the Company
Strong executive presentation skills
Familiarity with ISO/RTO market structures, capacity accreditation methodologies, and battery storage interconnection processes
Exceptional analytical capabilities and a track record of thriving in cross-functional and team-oriented environments.
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
High School Grad/GED
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
