Seventeenth Watches was founded in 2015 by Chris Johnson, a seven-year veteran of the United States Army. During Chris’ first years in the Army, he was stationed in Europe, and it was in a small town in Germany that he first discovered his love for quality timepieces.
Their mission is simple to create quality minimalist timepieces. At the same time, they want their watches to be accessible. That’s why they employ a direct-to-consumer strategy – to cut out the middle man, and put a Seventeenth Watch on your wrist. They eliminate the traditional retail markup that you are so incredibly tired of seeing in the watch market today.
