Denetrya Brookins, a Florida native, started practicing yoga at the age of 34 while carrying her third child while also managing two hair salons and working as a cosmetologist. She was drawn to the flexibility and creativity that the field allowed her to have while raising her two other children. Yoga quickly took over as her passion and became a priority. The practice of yoga offered her the ability to grow and evolve not only physically, but mentally and spiritually. She was inspired to delve deeper into the fundamentals and history of yoga and clean eating. She learned to use what she had experienced in her daily life situations.
Denetrya teaches Hatha and Children’s Yoga classes throughout South Florida and hosts workshops nationally and internationally.
You can expect the atmosphere of her classes to be energetic, yet renewing.
